Homewrecking Made Simple

Ohio Stupak News

Greene County residents Bill and Rita have started a new format newsletter.  Actually, Bill was just poking around in the computer and discovered a newsletter generating program.  “This looks interesting” he said, “I never even knew it was here, maybe I should use it.”   A reporter was able to speak briefly to Rita as she was driving Bill to work.  Rita said, “this is probably a dumb idea, but he’s my man and I will support this effort in any way possible.”

Birthday for Rita

Little Miss Rita was pleased to find out that today is her birthday.  Even though it has happened about this same time for the past several years, it still was a surprise to her.  Even more surprising was the complete absence of any cake or presents.  Not about to let that bother her, she drove to the grocery store for a bottle of pink champagne.  But once again she was thwarted by the vagaries of the marketplace, and had to settle for spumanti.  We are hoping for some cake this weekend, but sources close to Rita claim that she is still not decided on what she wants for a present.  Maybe a new cell phone.

Maybe we should say “dangers to cell phones used by Rita.”  Her old one is dead, the battery won’t charge at all.  Probably because it never got used.  If I get her a new one, we will let Alan be in charge of charging the battery.

Website Updated !

OK, the actual reason I am sending this, is just to let you know that I have updated the website.  Hopefully nothing that you will notice.  As I have been working on this for over a year now, I saw that some of my style and format had changed from the first pages to the latest, so I went through all of them.  Also cleaned up the html code.  Hopefully all pages will have the same “look” now, and (if you are on a slow internet connection) load faster.  Sorry can’t improve loading time on pictures.

I spent the past several weeks updating the indexes in Beahm and Spencer branches (the only two uncompleted lines). I also have made blank pages for all remaining families, mostly so I could get an idea of how much work I have left to do.  There is no information on them, but at least you can now click on everyone in the family tree index, and all of the pages are linked together.

As always, I would appreciate if you all could spend a few minutes clicking the links and see if they go to the right places.  Let me know if you find anything that doesn't work.

P.S. Rita has now finished the bottle of spumanti and claims it is not as good as pink champagne.
