| These pages are a compilation of my work and that of others. You are welcome to use anything on this page, but be aware that although I have been as careful and accurate as possible, I am not a professional genealogist. I have been working on our genealogy for over 25 years, and started the website in 2005. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. Still, the majority of these pages are limited to compilations from published books and what I could find on the internet. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. I have set it up so that each page is one set of ancestors, with their descendants. 1500. Thomas Ferguson was born about 1665 in Connecticut. He is a son of John Ferguson [3000] and Sarah Hunt [3001]. Thomas married 1 Jul 1697 in Westchester Co, New York,
1501. Mary Farrington. Mary was born in 1677 in Albany Co, New York (some have Westchester Co, New York). She is a daughter of Thomas Farrington and Mary Ponton [3003]. Mary was a Quaker.
Thomas and Mary had three children that we know of, there were probably others:
1500.1. Thomas Ferguson was born in 1698 in Westchester Co, New York.
1500.2. Richard Ferguson [750] (1700 NY - 1791 Can) and Eleanor Green are direct ancestors, separate page.
1500.3. Farrington Ferguson was born in 1703 in Westchester Co, New York.
