I have been working on our genealogy for over 25 years, and started the website in 2005. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. Still, the majority of these pages are limited to compilations from published books and what I could find on the internet. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. This Randall family is not directly related to us, and in particular is not related to our own Randall line. I include this partial descent list due to the frequent intermarriage with our family. I have left out most of the children, including only those who married into our lines.
William Randall was born Mar 1599 in England, and died 13 Oct 1693 in Massachusetts. He married
Elizabeth Carver.
Four of their lines marry into ours:
a. Joseph Randall was born 1643 in Massachusetts, and died 1723 in Massachusetts. He married
1672 in Massachusetts, Hannah MacOmber. Hannah was born 1652 in Massachusetts, and died in 1714.
Joseph and Hannah had several children, including:
a1. Sarah Randall was born 16 Sep 1680 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts. She married 20 Dec 1709 at Scituate in a double ceremony, William Barstow [3854.5], son of William Barstow and Martha ___.
a2. Mercy Randall was born 10 Mar 1685 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and died 17 Dec 1725 in Hanover (Plymouth) Massachusetts. She married 20 Dec 1709 at Scituate in a double ceremony, Benjamin Barstow [3854.7], son of William Barstow and Martha ___.
b. Hannah Randall was born Mar 1644 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and
died 23 Aug 1714 in Scituate. She married 20 Jan 1666, Daniel Turner. Daniel was born about 1641, and died about 1699.
Hannah and Daniel had several children, including
b1. Abner Turner was born Jul 1672 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts. He married 20 Nov 1705, Naomi Sylvester [7708.3.6], daughter of Joseph Sylvester and Mary Barstow.
c. Job Randall was born 8 Feb 1654/55.
He married Elizabeth Doughty. Elizabeth was born 5 Mar 1654.
Job and Elizabeth had several children, including
c1. Mary Randall was born 29 Oct 1680 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and died 3 Dec 1753 in Scituate. She married about 1698, Joseph Barstow [7708.1.2].
c2. Nehemiah Randall was born 1 Jul 1688 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and died
8 Dec 1745. He married Ruth Stetson. Ruth was born in 1695,and died in 1770.
Nehemiah and Ruth had several children, including
c21. Ruth Randall was born in 1719, and died 25 May 1805. She
married Ezekiel Turner.
Ruth and Ezekiel had several children, including
c211. Ruth Turner was born 12 Jun 1737 in Hanover (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and died 31 Oct 1806. She married Michael Sylvester [7708.3.9.3], son of Amos Sylvester and Elizabeth Henchman.
d. Isaac Randall was born 1658 in Scituate (Plymouth) Massachusetts, and died 10 Jul 1759 in Pembroke (Plymouth) Massachusetts. He married 19 Nov 1684, Susannah Barstow [7708.1.1], daughter of Joseph Barstow and Susanna Lincoln.
