| These pages are a compilation of my work and that of others. You are welcome to use anything on this page, but be aware that although I have been as careful and accurate as possible, I am not a professional genealogist. I have been working on our genealogy for over 25 years, and started the website in 2005. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. Still, the majority of these pages are limited to compilations from published books and what I could find on the internet. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. I have set it up so that each page is one set of ancestors, with their descendants. 15736 (and 15634). William Wilcoxson was born about 1601 in England, and died in 1652 in Stratford (Fairfield) Connecticut. He is a son of William Wilcoxson [31472]. William married about 1632 in Stratford,
15737 (and 15635). Margaret Birdseye. Margaret was born about 1611 in England, and died in 1675 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut. Her parents are unknown, but we include their page since we know some of Margaret’s siblings. After William died Margaret married second, about 1654 in Connecticut, William Hayden. William had previously married Margaret’s sister Sarah Birdseye.
This is a double line, two of their children are direct ancestors to our family. William and Margaret could also be numbered as 15634 and 15635 respectively; we use 15736 as primary, as this line carries the Wilcoxson name further.
William and Margaret had ten children:
