| These pages are a compilation of my work and that of others. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. I have set it up so that each page is one set of ancestors, with their descendants. 15632 (also 15650, 15730, 15646). John Meigs was born 28 Feb 1611/12 in Bradford (Devon) England, and died 4 Jan 1671/72 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut. He is a son of Vincent Meggs [31264] and Emma Strong [31265]. John married about 1632 in Weymouth (Dorset) England,
15633 (also 15651, 15731, 15647). Thomasine Fry. Thomasine (also seen as Thamzen Fry or Thamzine Frye) was born about 1611 in Weymouth (Dorset) England, and died 4 Jan 1671/72 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut. Thomasine is a daughter of 31266 William Fry and Sarah Hill

This is a quadruple line; four of their children are direct ancestors of our family. We use 15632 as the primary reference, as this line (through son John) continues the name Meigs furthest.
John and Thomasine had five children:
