3926. Daniel Hubbard was born in 1644 in Milford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died in 1720. He married 17 Nov 1664,
3927. Elizabeth Jordan. Elizabeth was born in 1642 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
Elizabeth and Daniel are first cousins, having John Bishop and Anne Stevens as grandparents.
Daniel and Elizabeth had six children:
3926.1. Daniel Hubbard (1666 CT - 1720) had descendants and is expanded below.
3926.2. Elizabeth Hubbard was born 3 Jan 1668/69 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.3. Abigail Hubbard [1963] (1671 CT - 1740 CT) and Joseph Dudley are direct ancestors, separate page.
3926.4. Ebenezer Hubbard (b. 1673 CT) had descendants and is expanded below.
3926.5. Mary Hubbard (b. 1676 CT) had descendants and is expanded below.
3926.6. John Hubbard was born 14 Dec 1678 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut. He married Sarah Tyrell.
3926.1. Daniel Hubbard was
born 1 Aug 1666 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died Mar 1719/20.
He married Elizabeth Cruttenden, daughter of
Isaac Cruttenden (1643-1685) and Lydia Thompson. Elizabeth was born 22 Sep 1670,
and died Mar 1701/02 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut. They
were farmers. Daniel committed suicide.
Daniel and Elizabeth had five children (first cousins to us):
3926.1.1. Elizabeth Hubbard was born 6 Sep 1692 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died within a year.
3926.1.2. Elizabeth Hubbard
was born 31 Jan 1693/94 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died
7 Mar 1770 in Guilford. She married 4 Mar 1719/20,
her second cousin Abraham Fowler [7852.1.3.3],
son of Abraham Fowler and Elizabeth Bartlett. Besides being second cousins
through our Hubbard/Bishop line, they are also second cousins through Cruttenden.
Elizabeth and Abraham had five children (second cousins to us):
3926.1.2.1. Abigail Fowler was born 20 Dec 1720, and died 31 Dec 1806. She married 1 Nov 1749, Abner Stone [15688.3.2.2.3], son of Samuel Stone (1685-1756) and Mercy Rowley (1691- ). Abner was born 26 Sep 1722, and died 22 Aug 1767.
3926.1.2.2. Chloe Fowler was born Mar 1723,
and died 3 Dec 1791. She married Ichabod
Scranton [7820.8.8], son of John Scranton and Mary Norton. Ichabod
was born 19 Feb 1717, and died of smallpox, 1 Dec 1760.
Chloe and Ichabod had five children, listed under Ichabod who is closer to the
main line.
3926.1.2.3. Abraham Fowler was born in 1725, and died 30 Sep 1779. He married 31 Oct 1750, Elizabeth Bartlett [7864.3.6.2], daughter of Ebenezer Bartlett (1702-1775) and Deborah Crittenden (1705-1787). Elizabeth was born 11 Jan 1732/33, and died 27 May 1794.
3926.1.2.4. Noah Fowler was born in 1733, and died 15 Nov 1815. He married 29 Nov 1752, Deborah Pendleton [7822.1.8.3], daughter of Dorothea Ward and Joshua Pendleton. Deborah was born in 1734 in Stonington (New London) Connecticut, and died 15 Aug 1825 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.1.2.5. Anna Fowler was born in 1738, and died 9 Mar 1765. She married 4 Feb 1757, Jonathan Fowler [7852.1.3.6.1], son of Josiah Fowler (1688-1757) and Hannah Baldwin (1696-1776). Jonathan was born 20 Aug 1730, and died 10 Mar 1868. Anna and Jonathan are first cousins through Fowler, and third cousins through Hubbard/Bishop.
3926.1.3. Daniel Hubbard
was born 7 Feb 1696/97 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died
28 Sep 1751 in Guilford. He married twice, and had children
from both marriages.
Daniel married first, 16 Apr 1728, Thankful Stone [7844.1.2.3], daughter
of William Stone (1676-1753) and Sarah Hatch (1681-1751). Thankful was
born 25 Jun 1710, and died 13 Aug 1729 in Guilford (New
Haven) Connecticut, two months after the birth of their son.
Daniel and Sarah had one child (both second and third cousin to us):
3926.1.3.1. Daniel Hubbard was born 24 Jun 1729 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 17 Jul 1729 in Guilford, age 1 month.
Daniel married second, about 1730, Diana
Ward [7822.1.9], daughter of Andrew Ward (1670 CT - 1756 CT) and Deborah
Joy (1674 CT - 1752 CT). Diana was born 11 Feb 1709/10 in Guilford
(New Haven) Connecticut, and died 29 Mar 1789.
Daniel and Diana had five children (second cousins to us through both parents):
3926.1.3.2. Daniel Hubbard was born 25 Jul 1731 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 19 Mar 1819. He married 13 Apr 1759, Deborah Hopson [7864.3.3.5], daughter of John Hopson (1703-1771) and Deborah Bartlett (1695-1783). Deborah was born 22 Oct 1736 in Guilford, and died 5 Apr 1765.
3926.1.3.3. Levi Hubbard was born 10 Feb 1735/36 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.1.3.4. Bela Hubbard was born 27 Aug 1739 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 6 Dec 1812 in Guilford. He married Grace Hill, daughter of Thomas Hill and Hannah Pierson. Grace was born in 1747 in Guilford, and died in 1820 in Guilford.
3926.1.3.5. Thankful Hubbard was born 8 Apr 1742 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 17 Jan 1809.
3926.1.3.6. Diana Hubbard was born 14 Jan 1732/33 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 7 Feb 1798. She married 7 Sep 1750, her cousin Andrew Ward [7822.1.2.4], son of Andrew Ward and Elizabeth Fowler (1694-1794). Andrew was born 19 Nov 1727, and died 10 Jan 1799. Diana and Andrew are first cousins through 7822.1 Andrew Ward and Deborah Joy, and third cousins through 7852 George Hubbard and Mary Bishop. They are also third cousins through Abraham Cruttenden and Mary Hinkson, outside our lines.
Two of their children are listed under Anderw; Diana is an ancestor of Harriet Beecher Stowe.
3926.1.4. John Hubbard was born 20 May 1699 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 11 Nov 1775 in Guilford. He married 13 Jun 1721, Patience Chittenden, daughter of Joseph Chittenden (1672-1727) and Mary Kimberly (1671-1742). Patience was born in 1696 and died 6 Jun 1769.
John and Patience had three children (second cousins to us):
3926.1.4.1. John Hubbard was born 31 Jul 1723 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 25 Mar 1781 in Guilford. He married 9 Jun 1748 in Guilford, Zerviah Stone [7844.1.2.6], daughter of William Stone (1676-1753) and Sarah Hatch (1681-1751). Zerviah was born 14 Jul 1715 in Guilford, and died Jan 1769 in Guilford. John married second, 21 Sep 1769, his cousin Mary Rose [1962.1.2], daughter of Ann Dudley and Jacob Rose. Mary was born 6 Apr 1738 in Branford (New Haven) Connecticut. John and Mary are second cousins, both descending from 3926 Daniel Hubbard and Elizabeth Jordan.
3926.1.4.2. Elizabeth Hubbard was born 5 Jan 1726 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 21 Feb 1813. She married 11 Aug 1760, John Davis, son of John Davis and Hannah Pratt. John was born 2 Aug 1712 in Guilford, and died 29 May 1776. He had first married Amy Starr.
3926.1.4.3. Eben Hubbard was born 19 Nov 1733 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 22 Apr 1806.
3926.1.5. Abraham Hubbard was born 3 Jan 1701 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 12 Jul 1714 in Guilford.
3926.4. Ebenezer Hubbard was born 18 Aug 1673 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut. He married Elizabeth Lord, daughter of William Lord (1664 - 1678 CT) and Lydia Buckland (~1664-1700).
Ebenezer and Elizabeth had three children (first cousins to us):
3926.4.1. Ebenezer Hubbard was born 27 Aug 1707 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 5 Oct 1714 in Guilford, age 7.
3926.4.2. Mercy Hubbard was born 21 Nov 1714 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut. She married Isaac Cook.
3926.4.3. George Hubbard was born 30 May 1717 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died Nov 1762.
3926.5. Mary Hubbard was born 16 Feb 1675/76 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut. She married 4 Nov 1697, Caleb Leete, son of Andrew Leete (b. 1643) and Elizabeth Jordan (~1645-1701). Caleb was born 10 Dec 1673, and died 3 Dec 1760. Three of his siblings marry into our family.
Mary and Caleb had seven children (first cousins to us):
3926.5.1. Andrew Leete was born 1 Jun 1700 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.5.2. Caleb Leete was born 19 Nov 1702 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 28 Jan 1703 in Guilford, age 2 months.
3926.5.3. Mary Leete was born 17 Jan 1705 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.5.4. Caleb Leete was born 9 Nov 1708 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut.
3926.5.5. Rachel Leete was born 31 Mar 1710 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 14 Jun 1710 in Guilford, age 2 months.
3926.5.6. Dorothy Leete was born 2 Aug 1712 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 9 Mar 1772. She married Daniel Hurd, son of Ebenezer Hurd (1668 CT - 1750 CT) and Sarah Pickett Lane (b. 1666 CT). Ebenezer was born in 1668 in Connecticut, and died in 1750 in Connecticut. Two of his sisters and one of his aunts married into our family.
3926.5.7. Rachel Leete was born 30 Jan 1718 in Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 25 Sep 1801. She married 16 May 1749 in Guilford, Seth Stone [7820.7.5], son of Ebenezer Stone (1676-1761) and Hannah Norton (1678-1723). Seth was born in 1715 and died 3 Aug 1784 in Guilford.
