I have been working on our genealogy for over 25 years, and started the website in 2005. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. Still, the majority of these pages are limited to compilations from published books and what I could find on the internet. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. I have set it up so that each page is one set of ancestors, with their descendants. 1966. Ebenezer Crane was born 19 May 1702 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 14 Apr 1736 in Killingworth. He is a son of John Crane [3932] and Martha Daggett [3933]. Ebenezer married 6 Sep 1721 in Killingworth,
1967. Anna Wilcoxson, also seen as Anna Wilcox. Anna was born 12 Oct 1699 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut. She is a daughter of Samuel Wilcoxson [3934] and Ruth Westcott [3935].
Ebenezer and Anna had six children:

Wheeler. Phebe was born in 1728.
John and Phebe had seven children (first cousins to us):

1966.2. Daniel Crane was born 26 Jan 1725/26 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 27 Jan 1784 in Clinton (Middlesex) Connecticut. He married three times, and had children from the last two marriages.
Daniel married first, 25 Oct 1752 in Killingworth, Lydia Stevens [3930.2.4], daughter of John Stevens (1689-1745) and Elizabeth Grinnell (1687-1748). Lydia was born 26 Jun 1721 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 6 Oct 1753 in Killingworth. She had previously married Isaac Parker, so is seen as Lydia Parker in some sources. They had no children -- her death one year after marriage suggests she probably died in childbirth.
Daniel married second, Jul 1754, Hannah Stevens.
Hannah was born in 1728 and died in 1758, probably from the birth of Russell.
Daniel and Hannah had two children (first cousins to us):

1966.2.2. Russell Crane was born 5 Sep 1758.
Daniel married third, Dec 1759, Elizabeth Isbell. Elizabeth was born in 1738 and died in 1790.
Daniel and Elizabeth had eight children (first cousins to us):
1966.2.3. Lydia Crane was born Jul 1760.
1966.2.4. Elias Crane was born Oct 1761.
1966.2.5. Hannah Crane was born Oct 1763 in Connecticut, and died 16 Jan 1852. She married
Jun 1787 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, John Graves [3910.3.6.1], son of
John Graves (1735-1791) and Elizabeth Graves (1736-1766). John was born 16 Oct 1761, and died 28 Apr 1819.
Hannah and John are at least fourth cousins, both descending from 15632 John Meigs and Thomasine Fry. I suspect they are probably
also cousins through Isbell, outside our lines. They were Congregational, married in the First Church of Killingworth.
Hannah and John had six children (second cousins to us):
1966.2.5.1. Henry Crane Graves was born 4 Jun 1788 in Connecticut, and died 12 Dec 1848 in Fairfield (Fairfield) Connecticut. He married Ruth Crampton, daughter of Darius Crampton and Prudence Munger. Ruth was born 21 Jan 1795, and died 9 Oct 1829.
1966.2.5.2. Elizabeth Amelia Graves was born 17 Feb 1791 in Connecticut. She married Phineas Dowd, son of Phineas Dowd and Ruth ___. Phineas was born 15 Jan 1785, and died 2 Sep 1849.
1966.2.5.3. Nancy Miriam Graves was born 10 Sep 1793 in Connecticut, and died 16 Mar 1849.
1966.2.5.4. Sherman Graves was born 20 Sep 1795 in Connecticut, and died 12 Sep 1875. He married
4 Nov 1819, Anna Griswold, daughter of John Griswold and Hannah Dudley. Anna was born 18 Sep 1800, and died
7 Dec 1860.
Sherman was elected to the Connecticut State Legislature in 1860.
1966.2.5.5. Rebecca Graves was born 4 Mar 1798 in Connecticut, and died 28 Oct 1873. She married 18 Aug 1820, Willys M. Dowd. Willys was born 21 Jun 1794, and died 20 May 1877.
1966.2.5.6. John Adams Graves was born 1 Sep 1800 in East Guilford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 6 Sep 1837 in Louisa Co, Iowa. He married on 5 Dec 1825, Amelia Bailey, daughter of Jabez Bailey and Lucretia Savage. Amelia was born 10 Dec 1810 in Connecticut, and died in the 1870’s.
1966.2.6. Elizabeth Crane was born May 1765.
1966.2.7. Clarinda Crane was born Sep 1766.
1966.2.8. Benjamin Crane was born Jul 1768.
1966.2.9. Timothy Crane was born Sep 1770.

23 Sep 1749 in Killingworth, Cornelius Holmes. Cornelius was born in 1726.
Ruth and Cornelius had five children (first cousins to us):

1966.4.2. Elizabeth Holmes was born in 1752.
1966.4.3. Patience Holmes was born in 1754.
1966.4.4. Tamar Holmes was born in 1756.
