488. Daniel Blatchley Sr. was born 9 Oct 1760 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 27 Apr 1854 in Windsor (Broome) New York.
Daniel married twice, and had
children from both marriages. He married first, 27 Jan 1780 in Killingworth, our ancestor
489. Rebina Stevens. Rebina was born 9 Sep 1757 in Killingworth
(Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 24 May 1794 in Killingworth. Daniel and
Rebina were Congregational, and were married in the 2nd Congregational Church of Killingworth, by Rev William Seward.
Daniel and Rebina are fourth cousins, both being descended from 15632 John Meigs and Tomasine Fry.
Daniel and Rebina had six children:

488.2. Pardee Blatchley was born 16 Mar 1783 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 26 Dec 1845 in Killingworth. He married 27 Oct 1806, Experience Lane [1964.8.6.1], daughter of John Lane and Roxanna Redfield. Experience was born 12 Oct 1783 in Killingworth. Pardee and Experience are both related to us, but not to each other. They were Congregational, and were listed in May 1826 as members of the 2nd Congregational Church of Killingworth. They are both buried in Stonehouse Yard in Killingworth -- both headstones are broken.

488.9. Lucy Blatchley was born about 1800, and died 5 Feb 1849.
488.1. Zada Blatchley was born 30 Oct 1780 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 20 Jan 1862. She married about 1801 in Killingworth, Samuel Stannard, son of Samuel Stannard (1750 CT - ) and Elizabeth Pratt (1747 CT - ). Samuel was born 2 Oct 1778 in Haddam (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died in 1816.

488.1.1.2. Daniel B. Judd was born 16 Feb 1834 in Windsor (Broome) New York, and died in 1896 in Windsor. He married his second cousin, Mary E. Blatchley [244.3.1], daughter of Albert C. Blatchley and Sarah V. Guernsey. Mary was born 16 Jul 1838 in New York, and died in 1918 in Windsor (Broome) New York.
488.1.1.3. Ann Elizabeth Judd was born 23 Mar 1845 in New York, and died in 1923. She is buried in Windsor. Ann married her second cousin, Francis Augustus Blatchley [244.6.2], son of George H. Blatchley and Rhoda M. Hawley. Francis was born Jan 1844 in New York, and died in 1925.
Ann and Francis had two children (Frank and Fred) listed under Francis, who is closer to the main line.
488.3. Polly Blatchley was born 31 Mar 1785 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 6 Jun 1864. She married David Burr, son of Benjamin Burr (1746 CT - ) and Elizabeth Platt (1749 CT - ). David was born 2 Oct 1788 in Haddam (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 4 Dec 1874.

488.3.5.6. Mary Ann Dickinson was born 23 Mar 1856 in Connecticut, and died sometime after 1917. She married Merritt Doane. Merritt was born 30 Aug 1844 in Windsor (Hartford) Connecticut.
488.3.5.7. Lavinia H. Dickinson was born 27 Mar 1859 in Connecticut, and died in Mar 1934 in Connecticut. She married Albert Brainard.

1854, Adeline Lane. Adeline was born on 12 May 1831 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut.

488.4. Stephen Blatchley was born 24 Dec 1786 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 16 Sep 1852 in Pennsylvania. He married 18 May 1815 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, Betsey Lane, daughter of Arunah Lane (b. 1766 CT) and Submit Buell (b. ~1770 CT). Betsy was born 27 Feb 1796 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 6 Dec 1863 in Sefton, Illinois.
Stephen and Betsy had seven children (first cousins to us):
488.4.1. Daniel Woolsey Blatchley was born 14 Mar 1820 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 5 Jan 1885 in Rush Center (Rush) Kansas. He married Silvia Ann Comstock. Silvia was born about 1825 in Exeter (Luzerne) Pennsylvania. Some have Daniel's birthplace as Canaan (Wayne) Pennsylvania, but that is not consistent with his siblings. Daniel was a Methodist Episcopalian minister. He was at Luzerne County Pennsylvania in 1864, Browntree Illinois in 1877, and Rush County Kansas in 1885. He died of pneumonia after being out in a blizzard.

Pennsylvania. He married 17 Oct 1872, Maria Turner, daughter of John Turner (1817 Ire - ) and Martha
Hatfield (1820 Eng - ). Maria was born 8 Sep 1850 in Sefton (Fayette) Illinois.
Warren and Maria had five children, born 1873-1887 in Sefton, Illinois.

488.4.1.4. Henry Dana Blatchley was born 2 Mar 1854 in Blanchester (Clinton) Ohio.
488.4.1.5. Melbourne Blatchley was born 14 Nov 1859 in Clinton County Ohio.
488.4.2. Arunah Washburn Blatchley was born 2 Apr 1824 in Killingworth (Middlesex) Connecticut, and died 2 Sep 1826 in Killingworth, age 2.
488.4.3. Stephen Washburn Blatchley was born 25 Mar 1828 in Killingworth (Middlesex)
Connecticut, and died Jun 1908 in Dickson City (Lackawana) Pennsylvania. He married 30 Dec 1851,
Mary Ann Wall, daughter of John Wall and Mary Cumberland. Mary was born about 1830 in Alleghany Co, Pennsylvania.

488.4.4. John Wesley Blatchley was born 8 Sep 1830, and died 20 Nov 1905
in Woodland (Yolo) California. Various sources give his birthplace as Killingworth CT, Scranton PA, or Canaan PA.
He was in Knox County Ohio in 1853. John married Jun 1857 in Knox Co, Ohio, Emily McCreary, daughter of Henry
McCreary and Hepsibah Walker. Emily was born 18 Sep 1838 in Ohio. They were Methodist Episcopalian.
John and Emily moved to Vandalia, Illinois about 1863, then to Rush Center Kansas about 1874, and to Sterling Nebraska in
1886. John went to California in Oct 1905 to visit his daughter, got pneumonia and died.
John and Emily had nine children (second cousins to us):

488.4.5. Mary Fletcher Blatchley was born 24 Mar 1833 in Canaan (Wayne) Pennsylvania, and died 7 Apr 1833 in Canaan, age 2 weeks.
488.4.6. Fanny Rebina Blatchley was born 17 May 1834 in Canaan (Wayne) Pennsylvania, and died 17 Apr 1838 in Canaan, age 4.
488.4.7. Joseph Watson Blatchley was born 14 Oct 1839 in Canaan (Wayne) Pennsylvania, and died 6 Oct 1864 in Arkansas. Joseph was a farmer; he was living in Ohio in 1860, and Illinois in 1863. He served in the Civil War, unit unknown. He died of fever in camp at White River, Arkansas, and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

She married Nathan Crampton, son of Nathan Crampton and Ada Seward.
Nathan was born 10 Apr 1786 in North Branford (New Haven) Connecticut, and died 28 Nov 1837 in North Branford.
