Bill’s Family: Ancestors of Eldora Beahm |
||
| These pages are a compilation of my work and that of others. You are welcome to use anything on this page, but be aware that although I have been as careful and accurate as possible, I am not a professional genealogist. I have been working on our genealogy for over 25 years, and started the website in 2005. Some of the lines I have researched myself; some, especially on Rita’s side, we inherited the research of other family members over the past 75 years. Still, the majority of these pages are limited to compilations from published books and what I could find on the internet. The target audience was and remains our family, so the family pages are limited to our own ancestors. I have set it up so that each page is one set of ancestors, with their descendants. For the most part I have limited my scope to their great-grandchildren (second cousins to us); in some cases I list sources which may continue further. | HOME | |

58. James Aldrich {a,b,c,wa,wb} was born 24 Aug 1825 in Allegany County New York,
and died in the 1880’s in Wisconsin. He is a son of Gideon P. Aldrich [116]
and Rachel Mills [117]. James married about 1850,
59. Eunice Booth {a,b,c,wb}. Eunice was born in 1827 (some have 1826) in New
York, and died sometime after 1880 in Wisconsin.
James was a farmer, carpenter, and blacksmith. James and Eunice were living in Columbia County, Wisconsin, by at least the late 1850’s. We originally got their names from the death certificate of daughter Jane. They are both listed in the Wisconsin census in 1870 and 1880, but not 1890 or later. In the 1880 census, Eunice says her parents were both born in New York. The 1880 census shows two children living with them as sons, I believe these are sons of Eveleen, below.
James and Eunice had four children:
58.1 Eveleen Aldrich {wb} was born in 1853 in Wisconsin, and probably died before 1880. She married Myron Samuel Herreman. Myron was born in 1842 and died in 1876.
We are not certain of any children, but Eveleen and Myron probably had two (first cousins to us):
58.1.1. Albert Herreman {c} was born about 1871. He is shown in the 1880 census living with James and Eunice as a son.
58.1.2. Charles Herreman {c} was born about 1873. He is shown in the 1880 census living with James and Eunice as a son.
58.2. Jane Almina Aldrich [29] {a,b,c} (1858 WI - 1894 WI) and Cabert Beahm are direct ancestors, separate page. Jane’s cousin Harriet Aldrich married Cabert’s brother Christian Beahm.
58.3. George Aldrich {b,c,wb} was born 1859 in Wisconsin. He married Donigel Lee ___.
George and Donigel had one child that we know of, there may be others (first cousin to us):
58.3.1. DeClifford Aldrich {wb} was born in 1883.
58.4. Nora Aldrich {b,c,wb} was born 1867 in Wisconsin.
